Parish family: attached is my homily for this past Sunday.
Many thanks to our Knights of Columbus and all who helped plan and participated in our Eucharistic Procession after the 11 a.m. Mass. What a blessing for our parish! I hope to have such a procession every year.
Reminder: this Fri is the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and this Sat is the Memorial of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. After Holy Communion at all Masses on Jun 25-26, our parish will be re-consecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Ps 16:7,8,11: "I will bless the LORD who counsels me. I set Him always before me; with Him at my right hand I shall not be disturbed. You, LORD, will show me the path to life; fullness of joys in Your presence, the delights at Your right hand forever."
St. Mother Teresa: "Our lives have to continuously feed on the Eucharist. If we were not able to see Christ under the appearance of bread, neither would it be possible for us to discover Him under the humble appearances of the bruised bodies of the poor."
May God abundantly bless you. Fr. Kevin
